Who We Are

A scenic view of a mountain landscape during sunrise, with vibrant colors illuminating the sky.

Our History

The Servant's House of a Mother's Love Outreach was founded in 2012 by a husband-and-wife duo (Marquise and Diamond King), who identified a need to help under-served youth and young adults in our community. They did not only overcome statics themselves but are now able and willing to reach back and help others do the same.

Our Staff

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From case managers to outreach workers, we partner together to provide comprehensive support to our clients.

SUN Meals To-Go | Food and Nutrition Service

Tennessee's 2026 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides free, nutritious meals to children 18 and under across the state. With the state opting out of the federal Summer EBT program this year, local school districts, the YMCA, and food banks have scaled up in-person and to-go meal distributions. Tennessee offers several avenues for families to access free summer food:

  • Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS): MSCS Nutrition Services provides free meals at approximately 100 sites across the county from May 27 to July 31. Meals must generally be consumed on-site during designated serving hours.  Memphis Shelby County Schools

  • YMCA of the Mid-South & Middle Tennessee: The YMCA offers free, weekly 7-day meal packs for kids 18 and under. Parents or guardians can pick up these packs on behalf of their children without needing to provide an ID.  Meal Sites - Memphis - YMCA OF MEMPHIS & THE MID-SOUTH
  •
  • Rural Expansions: The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) has placed a strong emphasis on expanding these non-congregate, to-go meal boxes to underserved rural counties, including neighboring Fayette County.  TDHS Opens 2026 Application Cycle for Summer Food Service Program with Target to Expand Rural Non-Congregate Feeding Options
